A 7-Day Rajasthan Itinerary: Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur
2 min read

Rajasthan rewards slow travel, but a week is enough to see its highlights if you keep the route simple. This classic loop covers three very different cities without too much time on the road.
Days 1 to 3: Jaipur
Spend your first days in the Pink City: Amer Fort, the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and the bazaars. Start early at Amer to beat the crowds, and save the markets for the evening when it cools down.
Days 4 and 5: Jodhpur
Mehrangarh Fort towers over the blue-washed old city and has one of the best museum experiences in the state. Wander the clock tower market and try the local sweets.
Days 6 and 7: Udaipur
Finish by the lakes in Udaipur with a palace visit and a sunset boat ride. It is an unhurried way to end the trip.
- Distances between these cities can mean five to six hours by road, so plan arrival days lightly.
- October to March is the most comfortable season; summers are very hot.
- Book heritage hotels early for winter weddings and festival weeks.
