Dubai in 4 Days: A Balanced Itinerary
2 min read

Dubai is a city of contrasts, from record-breaking towers to creekside souks. Four days is a comfortable amount of time to taste both.
Day 1: Downtown
See the Burj Khalifa area, the Dubai Mall and the fountain show in the evening. Book observation deck tickets ahead if you want a particular time slot.
Day 2: Old Dubai
Cross the creek by abra, wander the gold and spice souks and visit the historic Al Fahidi neighbourhood. It is the best way to see the city's older side.
Days 3 and 4: Desert and downtime
An evening desert safari with dinner is a classic. Leave the last day free for the beach, a shopping stop or a theme park, depending on your group.
- Summer is very hot; winter (roughly November to March) is the most comfortable season.
- Dress respectfully outside beach and resort areas.
- Metro and taxis are convenient for most sights.
