Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our Bhutanese associate. After meet & greet formalities, proceed by private vehicle to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan (approx. 65 km / 2 hours drive).

After breakfast, proceed for half-day sightseeing of Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to Paro (65 km approx).

En-route visit:

Later proceed for half-day Paro sightseeing:

• Rinpung Dzong
• Ta Dzong (National Museum of Bhutan)

After early breakfast, proceed for an optional excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) (extra cost).

Tiger’s Nest is one of Bhutan’s most sacred monasteries, built in 1692. Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated here for three years. The monastery is perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above Paro Valley.

(Note: Trek involves moderate difficulty and is not advisable for senior citizens or guests with medical conditions.)
