Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which cancellations are processed by Maharishi Tour & Travel Pvt. Ltd.. We encourage travelers to read this policy carefully before confirming any booking.

1. Cancellation Procedure

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels.
• The date of receipt of the cancellation request shall be considered as the effective cancellation date.
• Verbal or informal cancellation requests will not be accepted.

2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges are calculated based on the total package cost and the number of days prior to the departure date. Unless otherwise specified, the following charges shall apply:

• More than 30 days before departure: 10% of total package cost
• 21 – 30 days before departure: 25% of total package cost
• 15 – 20 days before departure: 50% of total package cost
• 7 – 14 days before departure: 75% of total package cost
• Less than 7 days / No-show: 100% of total package cost

3. Airline, Hotel & Third-Party Policies

Cancellation charges for airline tickets, hotel bookings, transportation, and other services are governed by the respective service provider’s cancellation policies. Some services may be completely non-refundable.

4. Special Tours & Peak Season

Pilgrimage tours, group departures, festive season travel, peak season bookings, and international packages may have stricter cancellation policies. These will be communicated at the time of booking or mentioned in the booking voucher.

5. GST & Tax Implications

• GST charged on services is governed by statutory regulations and may not be refundable.
• Cancellation charges may attract GST as per prevailing tax laws.
• Any government tax changes after booking shall be borne by the traveler.

6. Force Majeure

No refunds or compensations shall be applicable in cases of natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, political disturbances, or circumstances beyond the company’s control.
